Wildlife charcoal drawings

Wildlife is magical. Animals' behaviours are so simple. This is why we feel so relaxed around them. Whenever I start drawing an animal, I always start with the eyes. Once the eyes are ready, I feel that the animal is alive on the paper, it's looking at me. So, from that moment on, I feel compelled to complete the rest of the body in as well. Their furs, their feathers, their fluffs, their body shape are simply beautiful. Every little detail is carefully planned by the great Master. I will never be able to imitate nature entirely but I will always try and bring out the most with the help of charcoal. Charcoal simplifies the big whole, it's a great tool to work with.
