The wren is one of my favourite birds. In Hungarian this little bird is called "ökörszem" , which means "ox-eye" . This is rightly so, as it's no bigger than an ox's eye.  I used compressed charcoal, special erasers and a textured mixed media paper to do this piece. There were a lot of tiny details that I had to pay attention to, but in the end it was worth it.
